Parish Council Meeting – Monday 21st October 2024

The MONTHLY MEETING OF CLUTTON PARISH COUNCIL will be held on MONDAY 21st October 2024 at 7.30pm at Clutton Village Hall. Press and Public are invited to attend.

143.1. Apologies for Absence: To receive and accept apologies for absence. (Chair)

143.2. Declarations of Interest: to receive declarations of interest

143.3. Minutes:
a) To approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 16th September 2024.
b) To receive reports on any further matters arising from the decisions of the last meetings.

143.4. Planning
a) To agree/report responses to the following Applications:
i) 24/03813/TPO. Parcel 7527, Greensbrook: T1-English Oak, Reduce canopy by up to 4ms on lowest limbs and 2ms to upper canopy to increase stability and distance from buildings.
ii) 24/03814/TPO. Parcel 7527, Greensbrook. T2-Ash, cut crown back by 4m on overhanging side of new development. To increase light and increase stability due to Ash Dieback.

b) To report B&NES decisions for the following Applications:
i) 24/03041/FUL. 1 Townsend , Cooks Hill: Erection of one storey, detached annex. PERMIT
ii) 23/04243/OUT. Hartley Wood , King Lane. Outline application for the erection of 9 residential dwellings with access to be determined and all other matters reserved (resubmission). REFUSED

143.5. Finance, Legal, HR & Admin
a) To approve the monthly finance report and payments for October.
b) To receive the 6 month review of the budget.
c) To consider candidates for co-option onto the Parish Council.
d) To consider grant application from Great Western Ambulance Service.
e) To review the membership & operation of working groups.

143.6. Parks, Open Spaces and Environment
a) To prepare a business plan for the Community Asset Transfer of the Village Green & Burchill Close Play Area.

143.7. Highways, Rights of Way & Infrastructure
a) To agree the Task List for the Village Operative.

143.8. Community engagement
a) To consider nominations for the Chelwood Bridge Rotary Club Community Award 2025.

143.9. Correspondence since the last meeting.
a) Resident: Overgrowth of trees and shrub on Station Road.

143.10. To receive a report from the Ward Councillor.

143.11. To receive a report from the members of representative bodies (Various)
a) Clutton United Charities
b) Clutton village Hall
c) Allotments
d) Flood Warden
e) Neighbourhood Plan Working Group.

143.12. To receive a report from the Clerk.
