139.1. The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council: Governance (Chair)
a) To elect the Chairman of the Council and to receive the Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
b) To elect the Vice Chairman and to receive the Vice Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
c) To receive & accept apologies for absence & declarations of interest.

d) To appoint members to serve on working groups and as lead councillors as required.
e) To appoint representatives on relevant bodies as required
f) To review the Standing Orders for Clutton Parish Council
g) To review the Financial Regulations for Clutton Parish Council
h) To review the Council Asset Register.
i) To review the Councils Risk Assessment.
j) To fix the dates and times of ordinary meetings of the council for the ensuing year.

139.2. Minutes:
a) To approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 15th April 2024
b) To receive reports on any further matters arising from the decisions of the last meeting.

139.3. Planning
a) To agree/report responses to the following Applications:
i) 24/01548/FUL. Venley, Broomhill Lane: Erection of two storey side extension to existing dwelling and replacement of detached garage building.
ii) 23/04785/FUL. Site Of Old Colliery, Fry’s Bottom, Chelwood.Change of use from Forestry to Mixed Forestry and for recreational use as a Trial Bike and E-Bikes (EAPCs) practice area (Sui Generis) – revised information.

b) To report B&NES decisions for the following Applications:
i) 24/00348/FUL. Three Ways, Station Road: Enlargement of existing hardstanding and alter existing vehicular access following demolition of existing garage. REFUSE.
ii) 24/00874/FUL. Rowan House, 6 Church Lane: Erection of single storey rear extension following demolition of existing. PERMIT

139.4. Finance, Legal, HR & Admin
a) To approve the monthly payments for May.
b) To approve grant request of £260 for food for the community larder.

139.5. Highways, Rights of Way & Infrastructure
a) To approve expenditure and appointment of new footpath officer.
b) To agree the Task List for the Village Operative.

139.6. Parks & Open spaces
a) To approve expenditure for repair to climbing frame.

139.7. Correspondence since the last meeting:
a) Somer Valley Rediscovered: Seeking a chair for Somer Valley Rediscovered Partnership.
b) Resident: Request for permission to use strip of land in Frys bottom Wood

139.8. To receive a report from the Ward Councillor.
