Parish Council Meeting – Monday 15th May

The Annual Meeting of CLUTTON PARISH COUNCIL to be held on MONDAY 15th May 2023 at 7.30pm at Clutton Village Hall.

Press and Public are invited to attend.

128.1. The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council: Governance (Chair)
a) To elect the Chairman of the Council and to receive the Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
b) To elect the Vice Chairman and to receive the Vice Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
c) To receive & accept apologies for absence & declarations of interest.

Public Participation Session: An opportunity for members of public to raise questions about and comment on items on the agenda. Please register with the Clerk on clerk@clutton-pc.gov.uk

d) To approve the co-option of Steve Brimble to fill a vacancy.
e) To appoint members to serve on working groups and as lead councillors as required.
f) To appoint representatives on relevant bodies as required
g) To review the Standing Orders for Clutton Parish Council
h) To review the Financial Regulations for Clutton Parish Council
i) To review the Council Asset Register.
j) To review the Councils Risk Assessment.
k) To fix the dates and times of ordinary meetings of the council for the ensuing year.

128.2. Minutes:
a) To approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 17th April 2023
b) To receive reports on any further matters arising from the decisions of the last meeting.

128.3. Planning
a) To agree/report responses to the following Applications: None
b) To report B&NES decisions for the following Applications: None

128.4. Finance, Legal, HR & Admin
a) To approve the monthly payments for May.

128.5. Highways, Rights of Way & Infrastructure
a) To review initial results from the Speed Indicator Device (SID)
b) To agree the Task List for the Village Operative.

128.6. Community Engagement
a) To confirm arrangements for the Flower Show

128.7. Correspondence since the last meeting:
a) Resident: request to Plant daffodil Bulbs on the Village Green (deferred from last meeting)
b) Somerset Miners Welfare Trust: Metal Miners

128.8. To receive a report from the Ward Councillor.
