The Annual MEETING OF CLUTTON PARISH COUNCIL will be held on MONDAY 19th May 2025 at 7.30pm at Clutton Village Hall. Press and Public are invited to attend.
150.1. The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council: Governance (Chair)
a) To elect the Chairman of the Council and to receive the Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
b) To elect the Vice Chairman and to receive the Vice Chairman’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
c) To receive & accept apologies for absence & declarations of interest.
Public Participation Session: An opportunity for members of public to raise questions about and comment on items on the agenda. Please register with the Clerk on clerk@clutton-pc.gov.uk
d) To appoint members to serve on working groups and as lead councillors as required.
e) To appoint representatives on relevant bodies as required
f) To review the Standing Orders for Clutton Parish Council
g) To review the Financial Regulations for Clutton Parish Council
h) To review the Council Asset Register.
i) To review the Councils Risk Assessment.
j) To fix the dates and times of ordinary meetings of the council for the ensuing year.
150.2. Minutes:
a) To approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 28th April 2025
b) To receive reports on any further matters arising from the decisions of the last meeting.
150.3. Planning
a) To agree/report responses to the following Applications: None
b) To report B&NES decisions for the following Applications:
i) 25/00749/FUL. Sage Cottage , 39 Upper Bristol Road. Demolition of existing front porch to be replaced with a new single storey porch. Single storey rear extension. Conversion of half the garage into a habitable bedroom. PERMIT
150.4. Finance, Legal, HR & Admin
a) To approve the monthly finance report & payments for May.
b) To consider candidates for Co-option onto the Parish Council
150.5. Highways, Rights of Way & Infrastructure
a) To approve expenditure for Solar charging for the Speed Indicator device.
b) To agree the Task List for the Village Operative.
150.6. Community Engagement
a) To approve expenditure for the VE Day celebrations.
b) To confirm arrangements for the Flower Show
150.7. Correspondence since the last meeting:
i) Resident: request for residents to respect the peace & quiet of Sunday afternoons & evenings
150.8. To receive a report from the Ward Councillor.
